I think Peter Crouch was correct when he suggested playing the games would have allowed a nationwide show of appreciation to her majesty. Grounds all over the UK applauding, singing the national anthem, yet the powers that be believe everything has to stop to show respect.

I agree with William Hill’s decision to close their shops on Friday, not too supportive of closing them today however.

I honestly feel the queen would have wanted everyone to celebrate her life rather than have their weekend taken away, some losing hundreds of pounds with booked accommodation and travel etc.

I think it’s a joke the Queen died peacefully, so why are the powers that be causing so much chaos, fan ain’t getting a chance to show their respect, just being treated like they don’t matter as usual
